Experts Uncut session on Registries and Real-World Data (RWD) in Haemophilia on 10 May!

We are excited to share with you the details for Roche’s first Experts Uncut meeting of 2021! This virtual peer-to-peer sharing session will comprise of non-promotional content, specifically focusing on the value of registries in haemophilia care.

What? Registries and RWD in Haemophilia: What’s Beyond Clinical Trials?

The expert panel will look beyond clinical trials to discuss the importance of RWD and registries in haemophilia. They will discuss how registries and RWD help us maximise the use of attainable data and provide broader information that can assist in making treatment decisions and improving patient care in haemophilia.

Who? A panel of experts in haemophilia registries and RWD.

How? The meeting will be broadcast live and delivered twice to accommodate different time zones. The focus will lie on faculty discussion and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with our renowned faculty of experts.

Chair: Dr Flora Peyvandi

Dr Peyvandi is Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Milan and Director of the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Haemophilia & Thrombosis Centre at the Internal Medicine – Haemostasis and Thrombosis Unit of the IRCCS Maggiore Hospital in Milan, Italy.

Dr Marijke van den Berg

Dr van den Berg is a senior investigator at the University Hospital in Utrecht, The Netherlands and the Director of the PedNet Registry, a collaboration of 31 haemophilia centres from 18 countries.

Dr Michael Recht

Dr Recht is the Chief Science Officer of the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN). Previously, Dr Recht was the Director of the Hemophilia Center at Oregon Health and Science University in the US, as well as the Director of the Mountain States Hemophilia Network.

Roche will be supporting these meetings by providing the platform and logistical arrangements. Please note, the session will be moderated and filtered for efficiency and compliance.
